Free Website Screenshot Tool by Get-Tools
Do you need to capture screenshots from multiple websites at the same time? The Get-Tools Screenshot Tool lets you enter up to 10 URLs, automatically captures a full high-quality screenshot of each page, and lets you download all images as a single ZIP file with one click. Completely free, no registration, and no software installation required — everything runs directly in your browser.
How Does It Work?
The tool uses headless browser technology where the server opens each URL you provide inside a real Chrome browser, waits for the page to fully load including JavaScript execution, images, web fonts, and CSS animations, then captures a pixel-perfect PNG screenshot. This approach guarantees the screenshot matches exactly what a real visitor would see when opening the website — unlike simple HTTP crawlers that only capture raw HTML.
Key Features
Batch Screenshot Capture
Add up to 10 URLs at once, either one by one using the input field or by pasting a list of URLs (one per line) all at once. The tool captures each page sequentially and shows a live progress bar so you always know where you are in the process.
Multiple Screen Sizes
Choose from three viewport presets to simulate how the website looks on different devices: Desktop (1280px) for the standard computer view, Tablet (768px) for the iPad experience, and Mobile (375px) for the smartphone view. This is extremely useful for checking responsive web design and comparing how a website behaves across devices.
Live Preview & Lightbox
After each screenshot is captured, a thumbnail appears instantly in the results grid. Click any thumbnail to open a full-size lightbox view. If you have the overlay feature enabled, the lightbox shows the final composited image exactly as it will look when downloaded.
Flexible Input Methods
Add URLs one by one through the input field and press Enter or the Add button, or paste multiple URLs at once from a spreadsheet, document, or any text source. The tool automatically detects valid URLs and ignores duplicates.
Image Overlay System
Enable the overlay feature to add a semi-transparent colored layer over all screenshots, along with custom text for each image. You can control the overlay color, opacity, font size, and text position (top, center, or bottom). Each image can have its own unique text while sharing the same style — perfect for creating consistent branded visuals without making separate designs for every page. A live CSS preview shows the overlay on thumbnails instantly, and the final Canvas-rendered version is applied when downloading.
Download Options
Download each screenshot individually using the download button on its card, or click "Download All (ZIP)" to get all screenshots bundled into a single compressed archive. Overlay text is baked into images at the time of download for maximum accuracy.
Practical Use Cases
Designers and Web Developers
Capture screenshots of competitor websites to analyze their design, layout, color schemes, and UI patterns. Use the tool to create visual documentation of your project at different development stages, or to quickly generate before/after comparisons after a redesign. The mobile and tablet viewports make it easy to verify responsive design behavior across breakpoints.
Marketing Teams and Client Presentations
Generate visual reports showing how client websites appear across different devices without needing to set up separate devices or emulators. Create polished presentation materials by applying branded overlays with campaign names or taglines directly on the screenshots. Ideal for proposals, pitch decks, and monthly reporting.
UX Research and Competitive Analysis
Collect screenshots from multiple competitor or reference websites for UX studies, heuristic evaluations, or benchmark reports. Having all screenshots in a single ZIP makes it easy to import them into design tools like Figma, Sketch, or PowerPoint.
Archiving and Legal Documentation
Save visual snapshots of web pages before they are updated, redesigned, or taken offline. Useful for legal documentation, evidence preservation, compliance audits, or simply maintaining a historical visual record of a website's evolution over time.
Content Creators and Social Media
Use the overlay feature to create branded website preview images for social media posts, blog articles, tutorials, or YouTube thumbnails — without needing design software. Add a title or caption directly on the screenshot in seconds.
Privacy and Security
The tool only accesses pages that are publicly available on the internet without requiring login. It cannot access pages behind authentication, private intranets, or internal network addresses. No screenshots, URLs, or any user data are stored on our servers — images are captured, immediately sent to your browser, and permanently deleted from the server. Your usage is completely private and secure.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I capture pages that require login?
No. The tool can only capture publicly accessible pages that do not require authentication. This is by design for security and privacy reasons.
What is the quality of the captured images?
Screenshots are saved as PNG files at the full resolution of the simulated viewport. The quality matches a real browser screenshot including images, fonts, CSS rendering, and JavaScript-generated content.
Why does the screenshot look cut off?
The tool captures the visible viewport area (up to 900px height). If the page content is shorter, the empty space at the bottom is automatically removed. For very long pages, only the top portion is captured — full-page scrolling capture is not supported at this time.
How many URLs can I add?
You can add up to 10 URLs per capture session. If you need more, simply repeat the process after the first batch completes.
How long does capture take?
Each screenshot takes between 5 and 20 seconds depending on how long the page takes to load. Complex pages with many resources take longer. The progress bar keeps you updated throughout the process.
