Daily Water Intake Calculator
This tool calculates how much water your body needs daily based on weight, activity level, and climate, starting from the base formula of 35 ml per kilogram with adjustments for physical activity and heat.
How is it calculated?
- Base: Body weight (kg) × 35 ml
- Gender: Women −300 ml (different metabolism)
- Activity: +200 ml (light) up to +900 ml (very intense)
- Hot climate: +400 ml (warm) or +800 ml (very hot)
Why is water important?
Water makes up about 60% of body weight and is involved in every vital function: temperature regulation, nutrient transport, toxin removal, and joint lubrication. Even 2% dehydration reduces concentration and physical performance.
